Pulsed GMAW is tuned to detach exactly one droplet per current pulse — the synchronization that keeps spatter low and bead appearance consistent. At 480 fps the one-pulse-one-drop relationship is directly visible, making it easy to see when pulse parameters drift out of sync and transfer becomes irregular, which is exactly the failure mode that raises spatter and porosity risk on the shop floor.
